Jan. 13th - Essential Knife Skills and JBG-Veggie-Focused Dishes
Join local Chef Sandra Caglia and West Elm Austin in becoming faster, safer and more accurate with your knife skills to create dishes that cook evenly and look Instagram ready! Learn to dice, mince and julienne while meal prepping for the week with your own CSA box. A personal box of seasonal vegetables will be made available for this class with a little help from Johnson's Backyard Garden.
Chef Sandy will provide you with a recipe booklet featuring that week’s produce to make cooking after work a breeze. Students will leave class with fundamental knowledge on cutting vegetables, prepped and packaged vegetables for the week, and a few recipes that you can try out at home. Did we mention that you will learn to cut onions without shedding a single tear?
