April 6th - Moon Club: Music for Feminism
Do you consider yourself a feminist? Moon Club welcomes you!
Moon Club is a series of music and live art events that create a community for all people who want to spread love, empower and educate one another about intersectional feminism. Intersectionality is an important facet of this club and it mirrors the events. It's a concept used to describe the ways in which oppressive institutions (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ablism, xenophobia, classism, etc.) are interconnected and cannot be examined separately from one another.
Whether you have a vagina or not, if you support women, you’re already a member of the club. Because feminism is for everyone.
Join Moon Club on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 for their first show at The Sahara Lounge to catch the lunar drift and float into the post-patriarchal age. All genders from all walks of life are invited to attend. Click here for more information.
