UO DIY: Indigo Dye Workshop

Close out Earth Month with us on April 29th, as we revive old and new goods with an Indigo Dye Workshop hosted by Erica Heidepriem.

Urban Outfitters will cover the history, myth, and lore of indigo. This workshop will provide the fundamentals of this historic pattern-making process and will focus on folding, tying, and clamped resist methods.

You will learn a variety of methods for creating different patterns. We will provide material for you to practice with, as well as a complimentary cotton bandana for each attendee.

The indigo vats will be set up for you to use and play! Feel free to bring your own goods to dye, but please avoid bulky pieces (towels, linens, bedding etc.), as vat space and time are limited.

Last but certainly not least, your ticket price wil include complimentary Chameloen Cold Brew and breakfast tacos.

Space is limited so grab your tickets below soon. Let’s dye it!
