An Uncertain Future - Film Screening and Discussion

Come out for a free screening of "An Uncertain Future," a short documentary by Austin filmmakers Chelsea Hernandez and Iliana Sosa. The film is part of #OUR100DAYS, Field of Vision's and Firelight Media's new initiative to produce and distribute 10 shorts across the country that explore topics like immigration, gender equality, and LGBTQ rights, as well as the rise in hate crimes. 

“An Uncertain Future" explores immigration through the intimate lens of motherhood, as two pregnant women in Austin, Texas face the uncertainty of their children’s future while President Trump calls for immigration enforcement among undocumented immigrants and the Texas legislature passes SB4 while ICE raids communities in Austin.
