Femme Film Fridays returns with Persepolis on 35mm

The Bullock Museum's original film series Femme Film Fridays returns on Sept. 22 with a 35mm screening of the animated film Persepolis, co-written and co-directed by Marjane Satrapi. The film is based on Satrapi's graphic novel about her life as a precocious and outspoken Iranian girl growing up during the Islamic Revolution.

Tickets include a 6 pm cash bar and a screening of Producer, Director and WriterChristine Chen's short film Ya Albi at 7:05, prior to Persepolis. A discussion and Q&A with Chen and UT Austin Lecturer/Turkish Studies Program Organizer Dr. Jeannette Okur will follow the screening. For more information click here.
