Michu Benaim Steiner is a Venezuela-born entrepreneur, strategist, creative director editor and with a passion for storytelling. She’s a founder and partner at In-House International, an Austin-based creative firm that’s home to a ragtag team of irreverent makers who spend their days designing, building apps and websites, dreaming up content, slinging copy, and creating animations. Client organizations and brands include TED Conferences, Daimler-Chrysler, Rackspace, and the United Nations.

In previous lives, she founded Gopher Illustrated, a culture and design magazine with print and web platforms, and was Director of Corporate Communications for UnoLink, a digital signage agency in South America. More recently, she consulted for UNFPA, Nordstrom, and Stanford-affiliated accelerator StartX, and launched the beta of a civic data app called Citymatter. Michu has a B.A. in Comparative Literature and Philosophy from UNC-Chapel Hill and an MBA from The McCombs School of Business at UT-Austin, and will never get used to these bio things.
