She Talks: Boundaries + Allyship Workshop #2 (Benefiting LifeWorks: Austin)

#BOSSBABESATX HAS PARTNERED WITH LIFEWORKS TO PRODUCE SHE TALKS: BOUNDARIES AND ALLYSHIP.

This two-part series will feature expert counselors from LifeWorks, an organization that advocates for youth and families seeking paths to self-sufficiency.

The event will be held at Life Works East Campus on April 18 and April 25 from 6 to 8 PM: 835 N Pleasant Valley Rd Austin, TX 78702. Tickets for the 2-week series are $15 per session ($30 for the series). All proceeds benefit Life Works, and RSVPs will be capped at 80 people per session. Light refreshments provided.

LIFE WORKS COUNSELORS WILL LEAD GROUP WORKSHOPS IN THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

WORKSHOP 1: Saying No, Speaking Truth β€” April 18 from 6 to 8 PM

This talk will explore setting personal boundaries. What are they, how do we enforce them and how should we react when a boundary is crossed?

WORKSHOP 2: The Art of Allyship β€” April 25 from 6 to 8 PM

This talk will discuss how we can support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in a victim-blaming world.
