BABES FEST is an independent comedy, music and film festival promoting and amplifying self-identifying women in the arts.

3 days. 3 locations. 50+ artists in comedy, music, film and art. Produced by #bossbabesATX, BABES FEST is an annual festival in Austin, Texas and travels nationwide. Why? Well, this. And women kick ass.

/comedy: First, we'll ascend upon The North Door on July 27 with babe AF comedy, featuring sketch, stand-up and improv artists.

/film: Then, we'll transform the Austin School of Film warehouse on July 28 into a dreamscape showcase, debuting and screening more than 25+ narrative, nonfiction and experimental works by self-identifying women and nonbinary filmmakers.

/music: To close on July 29, BABES FEST will take residence within the walls of Empire Control Room & Garage with two multi-genre stages.

/art: surprise performances, installations, weird combinations. come and see.

Our productions center on personal and professional development, activism, the arts, entrepreneurialism, and community infrastructure. About The LINE HotelOpening in Spring 2018, the LINE ATX will be a cultural center for local and emerging artists, reflecting their stories and sharing a vision for the LINE as an inclusive, rooted, and pioneering hotel in Austin.
