From April to September each year, BBATX curates a monthly residency highlighting the work of 10 to 15, Texas-based women and nonbinary visual and musical artists that create work and perform in our programs.
This year, join us at The Line Hotel Austin pool deck every first Thursday in April through September to enjoy art and a DJ set, celebrating the work of women artists in #BBATX’s 2019 residency. Dancing, swimsuits (optional) and it’s-almost-the-weekend behavior encouraged. :)
On May 4 from 10 AM to 1 PM, join us for morning coffee at #BBATX’s headquarters, as we explore the emotional and practical tools necessary to start and sustain a successful collaboration.
Join us on May 17 for a curated, three-course dinner at the #BBATX HQ from 7 to 10 PM, featuring a private performance and intimate conversation with our team. Tickets are $100 to $200 (we have two different pledge options available at bossbabes.org/anniversary) and all proceeds benefit the continuation of our work.
On May 18 from 10 AM to noon at the #BBATX HQ, we’re hosting a special edition of our The Art of Self Organization Workshop in honor of our fourth anniversary.
Save the date! On May 21, we'll host one of our classic quarterly meet-ups. 〰️
In this detailed, three-hour workshop on May 28 from 6 to 9 PM at the #BBATX HQ, you’ll learn how to create a simple crepe paper rose with Mélissa Peng, the founder of Camellias and Curls.
During this creative experience, multidisciplinary artist Coelina Edwards will introduce you to indigo dye and various resist techniques that can be used to add patterns on fabric.
