Food & Leadership Fellowship with Urban Roots ATX
Develop your leadership and professional skills through a 12-week paid fellowship on the Urban Roots farm growing thousands of fresh food for the community. Fellows learn about food justice in local and global food systems, lead volunteers on the farm, and serve the community by completing a project improving food access in Austin.
Fellows work 8 hours per week and may choose to work additional paid hours, learning more about sustainable agriculture or youth mentorship. After the Fellowship, Fellows can apply for Crew Leader positions with Urban Roots in the spring and summer of 2018, working as mentors to high school interns in the Farm Internship Program.
