Bullock State History Museum Seeking Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist reports to the Head of Marketing and develops, coordinates, and implements the Bullock Museum's marketing plan and communications strategies. This position has the primary responsibility of developing and executing all email marketing communications to museum audiences. Conceptualizes, prepares and distributes information and promotional materials about programs and events to the media, stakeholders, staff members, and the public.

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads an internal cross-departmental team to develop online and social media content and develops, implements, and measures success across multiple channels. Works in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and sound independent judgment. Internalizing the Museum's mission, the ideal individual must be focused, organized, able to set priorities, and have the ability to shift gears and be flexible when priorities change. Utilizes excellent verbal and written communications skills and maintains a professional, respectful, and service-oriented focus when interacting with other employees, vendors, volunteers, visitors,and the general public.
