That Time of the Month - video production intern needed!
The ColdTownie Award-winning all-female late night show, That Time of the Month, is looking for a hardworking video production intern to assist the show’s videographer with editing episodic clips. After 2 years of producing the show in New York, comedian and writer Meghan Ross adapted it in Austin in March 2016 and now hosts at ColdTowne Theater.
Once a month (assuring she’s not on her period so she can make clear-minded hosting decisions), Meghan Ross showcases all types of talented acts including music, stand-up, characters, sketches, jokes, and general weirdness from humans who happen to be women. Each episode also features an interview with a Strong Female Lead(er) - an activist or entrepreneur doing kickass work in the community.
They're looking for a video production intern with the below qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X
- Organized and can meet deadlines
- Reliable and easily reachable
- Interested in helping topple the patriarchy
Unfortunately, they can’t offer monetary compensation, but can reward you in a very fulfilling experience working for a feminist production AND free treats, drinks, and the occasional sponsor swag. If you’re interested, please send your resume and a brief bio to our show videographer Illyana Bocanegra at firstname.lastname@example.org with email subject line “That Time of the Month video intern application”. Thank you!
