Loose Gravel: a physical theatre performance

An evening of edgy and offbeat vignettes, Loose Gravel collects the explorations of a multi-racial, multi-gender, and multi-sexually oriented group of individuals. The work is underpinned with the collective’s shared values of social awareness, intersectional feminism, androgyny, body positivity, and life choice acceptances. Seven performers conjoin from Austin and NYC in a multitude of collaborative pairings, opening the space up to be influenced by each others’ impulses, which are at times fervid, humorous, or idiosyncratic.

This performance will take place January 5-7, 2017 at Topology in East Austin, and will be followed by an aftershow including artistic work from other feminist, multicultural, and mixed-ability communities throughout Austin, Texas.
