In this workshop, the coordinators will briefly cover the history of the craft and then move on to practicalities. They will discuss stencil options and the characteristics of your process that will affect your final print. Students will create their own paper stencils and then practice printing on paper (greeting cards!), before printing on your choice of flour sack towels or tote bags. You’ll walk away with your stencil, your practice paper prints, and your two textile prints. And you’ll have the knowledge to come back any time to do more screenprinting using CRAFT’s screens, squeegees, and inks. For more information click here.
