Six Square - Austin's Black Cultural District proudly presents the East Austin Stroll this Labor Day Weekend. Stroll the vibrant streets of East Austin and immerse yourself into uniquely curated experiences reflective of the rich traditions that gave birth to the uniqueness of the African American legacy in Central East Austin.
Explore six historical destinations within the District that will be reanimated through curated cuisine of the African Diaspora, artistic performances, art exhibits, multi-media displays and much more. Some of the curated sites include: Six Square, the George Washington Carver Museum, Oakwood Cemetery, the African American Heritage Facility, Huston Tillotson University and more!
Stroll Six Square – Austin’s Black Cultural District on Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 1:00 – 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices for General Admission is $35 (includes samples of alcoholic beverages and food, and entertainment) and VIP Access is $49 (includes samples of alcoholic beverages and food, and entertainment, a guided historical tour of the district and reserved seating at the final event).
