Dr. James Flowers, Dr. Melanie Somerville, and Morgan Grace, LMSW, will be presenting on the topic of chronic pain and therapeutic approaches. This experienced and dynamic clinical team will cover chronic pain from start to finish. They will discuss the science behind chronic pain and how it develops, the relationship between chronic pain, trauma, and addiction, and learning new ways of living in response to chronic pain. Dr. Flowers, Dr. Somerville, and Morgan work with chronic pain clients from a variety of backgrounds and continually see tremendous change in the life of the client by approaching treatment from the mental, physical, and emotional perspective. This session will take an in-depth perspective on how to work with clients addressing these concerns and using therapeutic skills.
