Join us on August 8, 2019 at Space 24 Twenty from 7 to 9 PM to celebrate, honor and make space for our LGBTQIA+ babes and friends during Austin's Pride Month.
— WHAT TO EXPECT —
Come through as you are to experience:
• a photo booth installation, painted by multidisciplinary artist Natalia Rocafuerte
• DJ sets by p1nkstar and Y2K
• a competitive lip-sync-off (arrive in drag to compete!)
• a storytelling session with Yo Soy Podcast
• a portrait session with #BBATX resident artist Leika
• an open bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic options provided by GT’s Organic and Raw Kombucha, Big Swig Water, Austin Eastciders and Austin Beerworks
The lip-sync-off starts at 8:30 PM and will be judged by p1nkstar and Y2K. To compete, hop onstage when we call for the sync-off. As the songs play, you’ll convince us that you know the words—and hopefully steal the show. :)
The winner of the sync-off will receive four 3-day BABES FEST 2019 passes ($240), two tickets to Full Spectrum on August 10, a year's worth of free entry to #BBATX's events in 2020 ($600), two Life's A Spectrum, Baby tees ($60) AND ALL THE APPLAUSE AND ATTENTION (priceless). SO, COME READY. 🌈

This event is entirely free with RSVP. Although there will be no cost for entry, we will be collecting donations for various LGBTQIA+ organizations of the artists' choosing at the door and throughout the event. Any and all contributions count!
This event also serves to amplify the stories of LGBTQIA+ voices in our community, particularly queer voices of color. Please, respect the space and remember that PRIDE is a year-round commitment. :)
