ALONE, TOGETHER: A WORKSHOP ON COLLABORATION
May 4, 2019 from 10 AM to 1 PM
at the #bbatx HQ
This workshop is part of #bossbabesATX’s ongoing discussion-based personal and professional development series. During Spring 2019, all #BBATX workshops will explore themes of synergy. What does professional and personal synergy look like? How do we reject cultures of comparison and approach collaboration? How do we protect our own energy as we navigate opportunities, success and failures? Click here to explore the other workshops on our calendar.
On May 4, 2019 from 10 AM to 1 PM, join us for morning coffee at #BBATX’s headquarters, as we explore the emotional and practical tools necessary to start and sustain a successful collaboration.
In this workshop,#bbatx Founding Executive and Creative Director Jane Hervey, alongside #bbatx Production Lead Natalia Rocafuerte, will discuss their approaches to collaboration as a small team working with 1000s of creatives, business owners and leaders per year. Following a conversation detailing the nonprofit's internal structure, the two will lead a self-reflection exercise, as well as hands-on workshop on establishing schedules of responsibilities for new projects. So, bring pen and paper (or a note-taking device), your own questions as well as a friend you want to work with!

About #bossbabesATX: We’re a Texas-based nonprofit that amplifies and connects women and nonbinary creatives, entrepreneurs and organizers. We create space to share our crafts, catalyze multi-industry coalitions, promote intersectionality across disciplines, seek guidance and provide each other with practical and emotional resources. Anyone interested in our mission, core values, and initiatives are invited to participate—and learn more about how intersectional gender equality can improve their daily lives. We provide 1500 opportunities to women and nonbinary creatives, entrepreneurs and community organizers per year. More than 15,000+ community members also annually attend our showcases, markets and dialogues—and in the last three years, our programs generated an additional $1million for the Austin economy. So, whether you apply to participate in one of our programs, attend our workshops, conferences and dialogues, or come out to a festival or market to support the community we’re building, you’re a member of this movement. All babes, all people, are welcome. :) Learn more at bossbabes.org.
