Prioritizing pleasure in today’s world is an act of rebellion. Join sex-positive educators Erica Force and Melissa Carnagey on August 17 from 4 to 6 PM at the #BBATX Headquarters, as they facilitate an interactive workshop unpacking the nuances of pleasure—where do we first learn about it; what inhibits our access to it; and, how can we find power within it? Through body awareness and reflective exercises, this session offers an opportunity for participants to explore and arouse their unique pleasure journeys. 〰️

This workshop is part of SHE TALKS, #BBATX’s ongoing discussion-based series exploring personal and professional development series, tackling topics from finances to intersectional feminism. Learn more at bossbabes.org/programming.

Erica Force:If I had to summarize myself, I would say that I am a woman who believes in the power of knowing and loving yourself. I see beauty in ordinary things and have an artsy, creative side. In my eyes, sexuality is such a fundamental part of us as human beings and is at the root of what makes a person who they are. Through my work as a sex educator, I endeavor to unblock situations that keep one from sexual fulfillment by normalizing natural human sexual behavior.”

— MEET THE PRODUCERS —

About #bossbabesATX: We’re a Texas-based nonprofit that amplifies and connects women and nonbinary creatives, entrepreneurs and organizers. We create space to share our crafts, catalyze multi-industry coalitions, promote intersectionality across disciplines, seek guidance and provide each other with practical and emotional resources. Anyone interested in our mission, core values, and initiatives are invited to participate—and learn more about how intersectional gender equality can improve their daily lives. We provide 1500 opportunities to women and nonbinary creatives, entrepreneurs and community organizers per year. More than 15,000+ community members also annually attend our showcases, markets and dialogues—and in the last three years, our programs generated an additional $1million for the Austin economy. So, whether you apply to participate in one of our programs, attend our workshops, conferences and dialogues, or come out to a festival or market to support the community we’re building, you’re a member of this movement. All babes, all people, are welcome. :) Learn more at bossbabes.org.
